Before I came to the River Bible Institute I had had the privilege of leading maybe two people to the Lord. Since my time studying here at school, and plugging into the vision of the pastors to see souls get saved my life has radically changed. I am about to finish my second year of school and throughout my time here I have led hundreds of people to the Lord.

The script has made it so easy for me to share the love of God with people no matter who they are, where they are, or what they look like. I was out two weeks ago for soul winning with the church and we were going door to door evangelizing. I knocked on this apartment building door having no idea what God was going to do in the next few minutes.

A young father and his young boy answered the door. I handed him a flyer for the bus ministry that we have that goes to the neighborhood and invited him to join us for the Main Event, Sunday morning service. He said that he was a member of a church already. I went into the script anyways and he said he had Jesus in his heart. I asked him on a scale from one to five where he was at in his walk with the Lord that very day. He said he was about a three and would like to rededicate his life to the Lord afresh.

We finished praying the salvation prayer of the script and he had a huge smile on his face. He finished telling me that he was a deacon at the church he was plugged into and that he had lost his fire for the Lord. I’m so thankful that God used me to bring this man back into an on fire relationship with the Lord. God will use anyone willing!! We must always be obedient to the Lord to minster to whoever he leads us to! You never know what great exploits that man or women will do in the days to come to advance the Kingdom of God!

Soul winning has been such a life changing experience for me. Going out and sharing the gospel with people is really what Christianity is all about. I have had the privilege of talking to all kinds of people. Regardless of their occupation and position in society, they have bowed their head and asked Jesus into their heart. That only proves that the gospel is real.

The best part of soul winning is when the manifest Presence of God shows up while I am praying with someone to receive Jesus. A perfect example of that was just three weeks ago when I was out on a Saturday morning witnessing in a particular apartment complex here in Tampa. As I knocked on the door, a middle-aged Jamaican man unlatched the dead bolt and swung the door open. As I proceeded to read the soul winning script that I had been given, I sensed that this man was open to the Spirit of God.

After I prayed with him to receive Jesus, I told him, “Now that you are saved, there is a special language that you can speak to God in and only He will understand you.” I explained that is language was the Spirit of God praying through him God’s perfect will for his life. I confess that at this point, he seemed a little hesitant, but I put my hand on his shoulder any way and started to pray in tongues, encouraging him to do the same. To my astonishment, he did exactly that.

At first, he muttered softly, but soon he acquired some momentum and he was praying as loud as I was. I think I was more surprised than he was. After we prayed awhile, I stopped and shared with him that he could pray in tongues anywhere at any time he wanted. A beaming smile spread across his face as he thanked me for praying with him.

Without a doubt, I learned that day that I could never underestimate the power of the Presence of God.

When I came to RSW last year, one of my greatest challenges was the soul winning program. In fact, before I left Norway, I felt that a strong fear tried to come on me concerning this, because I did not think I would be able to live up to what would be expected in this area. I have never been very bold in sharing my faith, and have felt condemnation for that.

From the beginning, I would only speak with one person at a time and even that was a challenge for me to do. Sometimes I prayed with one or two, sometimes with none. But I kept on coming every week, and gradually it became a little easier for me. And I got encouraged when I saw people’s countenance change as they received.

I have tried to avoid going to nursing homes, because I have worked in one for many years, and did not want to go back into that environment. A couple of weeks ago, though, we walked by a nursing home while soul winning. It was like the Lord had already prepared this place for us. I ended up praying with 6 of the people living there, and it actually changed my attitude about going soul winning in nursing homes.

The same day I prayed with a family in a park. I first prayed with the mother, and then individually with each of her two children. I have to say that seeing children receive Jesus has maybe been the most precious thing for me in soul winning.

I know that I am still not the kind of soul winner they expect for us to be after attending RBI/RSW (I think the most I have prayed within one day is 16 people), but I have come a long way from where I started out.

Soul winning is a passion not a program. The Word of God declares that he who wins souls is wise in Proverbs 30. I am privileged to be in a church that goes after souls. The heartbeat of God is souls. God has been taking me to another level with soul winning this year. People on the streets are desperate to receive Jesus, and there is a hunger for God. I have become bolder to preach the Word of God. The fire of God is falling on the streets, and signs and wonders are taking place.

Healings are eminent everyday on the streets. It feels like God is about to release a new Great Awakening in the city of Tampa. Those were signs for the past Great Awakenings. It can see and feel it coming, people do not reject Christ like they used to. God is moving in the hearts of His people by the Holy Spirit. It is becoming even easier to preach the Word of God using the soul winning script. Sometimes people line up to get prayed for. Pastor Rodney said when things get worse, people run to God. It is happening right now, the harvest of souls is plenty and God is rising up the laborers. What a great time we are living in.

I am excited to be a part of this great labor of the harvest of souls. I count my life but as a servant and a messenger for God with the good news of the gospel. I believe that as we go out and reach this harvest that everything that we have believed God for will come to pass, but only as we lay our lives down and go after God’s heart. Praise God for the capacity to see a city shaken for God.

Well I can definitely say that going out soul winning now every week for the last 17 months that I have been a part of the River Church and the River Bible School as a second year student, has radically turned my life around. I have been a Christian since I was fourteen years of age, I am now thirty and before I got to know this great ministry called Revival Ministries International I can tell you that I was never taught on the importance of winning souls for Jesus. It took me a couple of months to really grasp for myself that the Great Commission Jesus had given in Mark 16:15 (NCV): “Go everywhere in the world, and tell the Good News to everyone”, is not only for the ministers as many Christians believe it to be but Jesus is indeed speaking to all believers.

Once I got a hold of this truth I went forth in obedience to my Lord. Every time I go out on the streets or go knock on the people’s doors, I have not only been able to reach them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but I have seen lives been touched by God right in front of my eyes. If I was to tell you one word to describe what I feel every time I share the gospel, I would say fulfillment. I feel fulfilled when I do it and when I walk back home, I feel that I have not only blessed the people by loving on them, praying for them, crying with them, laughing with them, leading them to Jesus but I am also the one who have been extremely blessed for obeying the Lord and for doing it out of love.

There is no greater miracle than the miracle of salvation! If you want to see a miracle taking place I highly encourage you to go out soul-winning and you will see it every day!

I don’t know what event it was (it was on God TV)

As Adonica was speaking she got drunk and wanted to say, “My Testimony” but couldn’t get it out because she was so drunk in the Spirit. From my living room I finished her sentence for her and in a few moments I started to feel as though I had just drank an entire bottle of new wine. Immediately after the broadcast a song came on God TV saying, “Did you get healed?” and I realized that I am healed of the mental illness that I had. I need your prayers. I have a court date on the 7th of January and I believe that the result will be a court order to take medications that have gone against my conscience in the past. Don’t remember the date

I was very depressed as my husband had suddenly died in 2002. I began to watch the Christian TV channels. I was raised Catholic and don’t like formal religion. In 2006 I came across Dr. Browne on TV and asked the Holy Spirit into my heart for the umteenth time, but this time it was different. I felt a warm glow and happiness in the Lord that has continued to this day. I now know that Christ loves me and I love him and have a personal relationship with him. I thought I would never witness being too shy, that all changed. I am on fire for the Lord now! My first witness of the Lord Jesus Christ was to a Muslim man going to temple on his high holy day. He listened but did not accept the Lord. Maybe I planted a seed. I also witnessed to an Indian gentlemen that I’ve know for several years. He owns the store where I go. He accepted the Lord. Praise God. Please pray for me that the Lord will give me the strength to witness to many others. I will pray that your ministry florishes and that many souls are saved. T.v. broadcast’s GOD t.v.

I just want to thank pastor browne and his wife for keeping it real andallowing the fire of GOD to flow through there ministry.I watch them on GOD t.v. every chance i can.I have hungered for the joy of the lord for years and have experianced it in drops at times. Thank you for the river of joy I have received through your testemonies and word spoken.I made up my mind to get what you had and I layed my hands on the t.v. as a point of contact through faith and that first night I laughed and over flowed with joy a half hour after your show went off the air. Another day after I heard adonicas testimony I was on my floor in joyful victory for a long time. What made me laugh even louder was the holy spirit showing me that my laughter over all my adversities turned to Gods glory was like putting a boot to the devils head.I also thought how if anyone was to look through my window they would think i had lost my mind(laughing,crying,groaning and praising)but the holy spirit kept saying to me this is what victory looks like and that made me laugh even more. thank you for what you are doing. p.s.would you ever consider coming to northern california.We need to learn how to go out into the highways and byways and preach the gospel.please consider crescent city Ca. your sister in christ loralee bishop

Great Awakening Tour City #20 North Miami Beach, Florida

Went to NH today; streets yestrday-saved 22 years. Yesterday led two people to the Lord today led three people to the Lord, five people total. One gentleman at first did not seem enterested but as she continued with the script he became enthusiastic and seemed to relax after he prayed the prayer of salvation. The first day she did not think she could do this and she found it easy leading thaose five people to the Lord using the script.
