The River at Tampa

The River at Tampa was founded on December 1, 1996 by Pastors Rodney and Adonica Howard-Browne. Over 500 people joined them for the first Sunday morning service on December 1, 1996 and the membership has grown since then.

The motto is “Church with a Difference”.  Rodney Howard Browne teaches us to break free from the mold of traditional religion.  Pastor Rodney aims to have a church that crosses the boundaries of race, religion, and social status.

The three main ingredients to their service are:

• Dynamic praise and worship.
• Anointed preaching and teaching.
• Powerful demonstrations of the Holy Spirit.
