Good News Mamelodi (2005)

Mamelodi is a town just outside the city of Pretoria in South Africa. It has a  population of over 1 million people. Good News Mamelodi Crusade is the third mass crusade that Rodney Howard Browne held in South Africa.

In all the towns in South Africa, people told us that we could never get more than 30 pastors to come at the same place, but over 300 pastors came. Over 400 churches participated in the crusade.

When we asked one of the secular  radio station managers to help us broadcast the Crusade, he replied that he was not interested. After that, we asked if it was possible to buy the time, and he gave us a price. After listening to ten minutes of the speech of our Good News Crusade director, the station manager came in and said:  “I am an atheist. I do not believe in God, or what you are doing, and I did not want to have your crusade on my radio station, but while you were speaking something came over me and I am going to allow you to broadcast your crusade live on my station!”

Phenomenal Healings

Many crippled and paralyzed people began walking and running.

Victims of stroke, accidents, and illnesses were healed.

Double in Growth for Churches

Pastors reported that their church members have greatly increased in numbers as a result of the GNM Crusade.
